IT WAS LITERALLY THE MOST MAGICAL MOMENT OF MY LIFE, AS I WALKED THROUGH THE GATES OF HOGSMEADE. Q_Q <3

Now, I’ve never been to Disneyland, so I know that everyone says they have their share of “magic” there-

but I grew up on Harry Potter.

My first “big kid” chapter book (fourth chapter book I EVER read) in the first grade was Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone. QUQ

When my dad was travelling back and forth, with his job, he’d call me up at night and I’d read it to him over the phone.

When the fourth movie came out, I burst into tears, as they left out my favorite parts of my favorite book of the series. (They left out Winky the house elf, tickling the pear to get into the Hogwarts kitchen, the Hogwarts Kitchen)

It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, just going through the entrance; a snow-laced, crooked-building’d plaza smack dab in the middle of 87 degree Orlando, Florida. 

I got to go to Zonko’s Joke Shop, to Olivanders, to Dervish and Banges; I drank my first Butterbeer (frozen-form!), bought a pin to show house pride (Ravenclaw, what what), and got my very own timeturner!!!!

But hte best part?

Ooooh, the best part.

The tour of Hogwarts Castle.

As I walked through those hallways of the dungeon, I was growing a little nervous; was that it? No legit tour, before the ride? But 75 mintues was DEFINITELY worth the wait, as we made our way through the maze of people trying to get into the castle, as well!

I watched moving paintings of Rowena, Helga, Salaazar and Godrick argue with eachother, was addressed to by Dumbledore, Harry, Ron and Hermione, watched Hermione make “snow” fall from the ceiling and disappear in my hand, was pushed on by the Fat Lady (the hardest my mom and I laughed that day was when the Fat Lady was like “Well, move along, children, tally-ho! …..WHAT’RE YOU STANDING THERE, FOR? GO ON, HURRY ON, WE’VE CHILDREN TO SEE! …Ohohoho it’s lovely to meet you, dearies!”)—-

but the ride.

Now, I REALLY try to avoid rides that toss you around, like that— it wasn’t even a rollercoaster. I felt nauseous and dizzy afterwards— but it was so worth it.

I literally cried tears of joy while on that ride. When we got off, I couldn’t stop grinning; I’d just been given a tour of Hogwarts, WHILE being PERSONALLY defended by Harry Potter, of dragons, dementors, and various arachnids.

It was truly magical.

So I’ve been gone. A REEEALLY long time. <|D;;;;;

Life’s gotten in the way, and I just haven’t really used this account in a while. ;;_____;;

Anyways—

last week was spring break. 

I went to Universal.

Best part of the vacation: taking a tour of Hogwarts.

I grew up on Hogwarts, okay? I’ve never been to Disneyland, and everyone always talks about their “magical first experience”—? Well, I’ll copypaste a from an e-mail just what a grand time I had~ C;

But here are a few pictures. I’d had this HP OC that I’ve rp’d several times, and- to the followrs who’ve rp’d with him: I certainly haven’t forgotten silly Cameron. ;D  In fact, I’m going to be trying to stay more active, specifically so that I can rp as him a bit more. ;V;!!! (I’ll rp him through inboxes and chatzy and such, as well~ o//u//o <3 )

ANYWHO. Cameron was my Ravenclaw OC. He’s a fifth year (going into sixth soon); mom’s side is Ukrainian, dad’s side is Scottish; currently lives in Scotland (Arthur’s Seat, to be exact); lived in Ukraine up until he was four, with relatives/witches, who bred dragons; Father’s side is of proud Scottish warriors who are muggles, but supported the magic-community and keep it secret; is an animagus-training (animal being a Ukrainian Ironbelly).

So um.

I took a tour of Hogwarts, right?

Every memory of Harry Potter, right back to my first grade year, came flooding, and I decided to doodle what Cam’s looked like, through the years. c: He’s always been kind of a tiny little thing— and though I didn’t label his 7th year-self, he grows up to be at least a tad manlier. xDDD <3

I also drew my dear Tiramiresu’s character, Morris.

And I’d started sketching out a skeleton of Zaicake’s character, Aleks/”Sasha”, butIforgotwhathelookedlike. QvQ;; So.
